Description
A reproduction of a mid-18th century Jacobite dram glass, this set of four fine crystal glasses was handcrafted near Glasgow, Scotland by the award-winning Glencairn Crystal Studio. In the aftermath of the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion, followers of the outlawed Stuart cause met in secret to honor the defeated Prince Charles Edward Stuart and toasts were drunk to the “King across the water.” Beautiful box illustrates a map of the uprisings and the history behind the Rebellion. Slàinte!
